Over the past few years I had become conscious of the dark bags under my eyes. Despite using lots of make-up I was not able to conceal them. People were constantly commenting on how tired I looked and this started to make me feel old and tired.

I admit to being slightly nervous before the procedure but I had done a lot of research into Paul Kirkland and the treatment and knew that I was in very safe hands. I couldn’t believe how painless and quick the tear trough procedure was. I felt a small pin prick as the filler was injected but that was it. I was able to go straight back to work afterwards and I only had minimal bruising which was easy to conceal with make-up.

I never thought I would have any fillers especially as those being marketed to me were by dentists and beauty therapists – how on earth would they know what they were doing? When I met Paul my opinion changed. I was very interested in his ENT work and impressed by some of the complex reconstructive work he had successfully done. Following an accident I had a rather unsightly deep scar on the side of my forehead which was beginning to look like a rather deep frown line!
